Sam And Saundra's Second Time Around - Part 25

Sam And Saundra’s Second Time Around – Part 25
Mexico
11/1/10-3/1/11 – Yuma Break – Cabo Air

Casual Flyer

For me - being able to fly is a gift from God.  For about 30 years I was earthbound due to inner ear and middle ear problems.  After a flight that caused inner ear fistulas to break open again, I developed an intense fear that it would happen again.  In April 2008 the women in our church prayed for me. I got on an airplane with Sam and flew to Puerto Villarta with no problems.  Since then, I have flown on several occasions – this time to Cabo San Lucas.  Why? Sam’s 60th birthday.  We flew from Yuma (a relatively small International Airport) in a prop plane.  A nice-sized prop plane.  Sam made sure I had a window seat, since I tend to stick my nose to the window to see everything. From LA to Cabo De San Jose we were in a large jet.  Another window for me. (From there to Cabo San Lucas by van taxi. A larger window.)  I love flying! The view from up there is nothing short of amazing.  It really makes you wonder at the wonders in the world. Lights, roads, vehicles, buildings in all shapes and sizes and from way up there – people. Nature is bigger from up there.  I am still waiting for the Balloon ride and sky dive. We will see.

Formal Flyers

Luggage, passports, customs, on-plane snacks and it is over way too soon.
