Sam And Saundra’s Year Long Adventure – Part 3

October 30, 2008 Thursday: We had to stop in at Knotts Berry Farm. Sam and I also made it there on our honeymoon. So off we go. Brutilla was concise and easy to follow – life was made easier, faster and if Sam ever needs someone to talk to …. . We got there too early. After the gate opened, we headed for the kid’s section. A-1 rated by the Wedge/Sliger group. Owen was able to go on many of he rides by himself as the signs said anyone over this height could not ride-----. Owen liked it that we were barred from some rides. They were very, very safe and no lines!! Wore all three of us adults out getting this little-dult his fill of rides. We did not see a lot of good rides for younger middle kids – but for all others there were good, scary, fast, fun ones all over the place. Definitely worth the price for younger and older kids and adults. The absolute highlight was Owen getting a full face red Spiderman paint job. SO coo-oool! He was so Spiderman. We were flingin’ webs all over, hangin’ people up on the rafters and countin’ the Halloween spiders that were hidden in plain sight all through the park, as we were leaving. OK, Sam and Kirsten did not throw even one web.
At Knott’s Berry Farm, Owie rode on the following rides: carousel (twice), bungie jumper (four times – twice with Zoey), Bus turn ride (5 times), roller coaster, ferris wheel (twice), swinging boat (twice), Ore car bike, Kid’s Jumper Space (twice), Race Car rides (twice), Calico Railroad, at least one other ride (log roller?). Hot dogs at Lucy’s Lunch
Box).
We got back to the RV park at about 4:00 pm, then went to Outback for dinner – using the gift certificate Sam received from his co-workers (thanks again). I think Owen and Kirsten had a good time at ‘Disneyland’, I know Gamma and Papa did.
